FAQ

  • How can I reuse my vessel?
Clean out the remainder of wax and reuse the glass vessel as a planter, pencil holder and so on!
  • Why do you ship only Monday-Thursday?
Packages shipped late in the week often sit over the weekend in hot trucks and warehouses. This could lead to melting, so we ship early in the week to ensure quick processing.
  • Why do I have to trim my wick after every burn?
Trimming the wick ensures a long and clean burn time. A longer wick means a larger flame, and that means that your candle will burn faster. A longer wick can also create soot as the candle burns. Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4", and you'll have a long lasting and clean burning candle!
  • How long should I burn my candle?
Soy wax has a memory! It's very important that you burn your candle for 3-4 hours after lighting for the first time to ensure that the wax melts all the way to the edges. Failure to allow this to happen could lead to tunneling and improper burning on subsequent lighting. Subsequent burn times should be no more than 4-6 hours. Long burn times can lead to super heating of the wax which will reduce the candle's scent.
  • What makes soy better?
Did you know that most candles on the market are made of paraffin or of a combination of paraffin & soy? Paraffin is a petroleum by-product, or more simply, refined gasoline. That means that when those candles burn, they are releasing toxins into the air that you breathe. Soy wax is plant based meaning that no harmful chemcials are released when burning. Soy is also a sustainable resource.
  • What kinds of fragrance oils do you use?
We are committed to using high quality fragrance oils. Every oil that we use is phthalate free
